You could be right Paul, I'd assumed from the way the message to me was worded (at the top), that both were the same day, it's possible that the web cast of the performance is Saturday and maybe even both days - I need to look at it more carefully.

It is 1:15 in the morn' here, and the chat starts at 7:30 am for me... I know I should go to sleep, or else I'll sleep in and miss the chat, but part of me is afraid that I'll go to sleep right now and sleep in anyways!

I think I will pull an all-nighter, Starsailor should be proud that I am sleep deprived for the sake of them! Razz

I have no idea format it will take, but I'll try and keep a copy of it as it happens in case anyone misses it. Just be aware that these things are often a bit hit and miss and a bit crazy and I must admit that I worry that you might miss a night's sleep and then find the whole thing to be a big disappointment. I know that's how people feel, after the abuse I got when our MB web chat last year didn't go to the original plan and several Americans were very unhappy with me having lost sleep.

Just a question, umm, on the page
www.rockpalast.de/konzerte/2004/rock_am_ring/chat/ , is there a link that leads to the chat room? I'm kinda confused on that aspect, to how you enter the chat room. Or will there be a link provided, at the time of the chat??

Well, it says it all kicks off after 2pm German time (1pm here) so we'll just have to look back and see what happens. I meant to look in yesterday to see what format it took with the chats yesterday and totally forgot to. The organisers did say that it would start from that page.

I'll keep my eye on it this afternoon as Mr Boo is out and I'm here just pottering, so I'll post any developments I see.

On the live stream page at http://www.rockpalast.de/livestream/ it says to reload the page after 2:40pm (1:40pm in the UK) - so presumably that means the page contents will change as events start, so perhaps the chat page will do the same. Starsailor should be web cast at 20:55pm UK time.

To get a full reload of a page, hold down the [Ctrl] key and then click reload/refresh - in some browsers this may be the [Shift] key.

Would you know it that I could have slept in some more after all! I woke up at 7:45 (12:45 in England) thinking the chat had already started, so I ran like a lunatic to my computer, dreading the fact that I have so many files and junk downloaded on it which made it go slower than my little heart wanted it to. And then I come onto here and realize I was about 2 hours early.

The chat page has now changed and there is a button to the chat area - there's a Java screen that pops up for you to enter a nick name and e-mail address and it says when you connect it opens a new window - there are already 50 users in there, so it could be total chaos! It's moving very fast!
