If I need comforting, or just want to listen to something I know and love, I usually go for Grace by Jeff Buckley.
If I want cheered up I go for Good Souls (naturally!) or Soviet Kitsch by Regina Spektor.
Although, bizarrely, I find that Everybody Hurts by REM can cheer me up no end, because I have a happy memory of it. Maybe that's why Good Souls works too! |
