Well, I neither fancy Harrison Ford nor like Star Wars. So there.

Give me Viggo and LOTR's any day, handsomer, better actor and way better films.

Ner, ner, ner, ner

(I'm in a very silly mood this evening, sorry)

Viggo? Ok, he's kind of sexy in LOTR, but have you seen him in real life? He has cut it of now, so he looks even older than he is. (he's the same age as my dad Confused )

Harrison Ford has played in better films! What to think of Apocolipse Now, American Graffiti, Indiana Jones! (And lots of bad ones, I know)

Well, at least I'm glad you don't want to take my Han Solo away!

LOVE Ford in Star Wars... I cried when he was 'carbonised'.

LOVED him even more in Bladerunner (my favourite film ever).

American Graffiti also one my favourite films, but that's because of Richard Dreyfus (who I have met, and is lovely).

Not so keen on Ford now, he just doesn't seem to have aged very well. I still think he's a good actor though.

Oh, yes, I forgot Bladerunner! Embarassed
I like Richard Dreyfus too, especially in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. You've really met him? Tell me about it!

Odd story.

Everyone I know - knows how much I admire Dreyfus.

So, my sister in laws parents heard that he was doing a pre-west end run of "Prison of 42nd Street" with Marsha Mason, in Malvern.

My brother in law, his wife and her parents all lived in Malvern, so it was on their doorstep. Her parents bought us all tickets, and me and 'im indoors stayed in a hotel in Malvern.

In the afternoon before the play, we went into town to get some lunch, and stopped off at the 'tap' in the middle of town (where you can get Malvern water, supposed to have all kinds of healing properties), and he was there.

I was dumb struck... 'im indoors kept nudging me, and I eventually said hello, told him how much I admired him, made myself look a complete idiot.

And he was very nice, chatted for a bit - can't tell you anything he said, I didn't ask for his autograph or take any photos or anything, figuring he was 'off duty' and it wasn't fair.

Then - we went to the theatre, watched the play from the front row!! and were just leaving when the parents of my sister in law said that because they were 'friends' of the theatre, we were allowed to stay in the bar afterwards for a reception.

OK - that's nice... except Dreyfus and the rest of the cast where there, and he said hello to us again, remembered us from earlier in the day, and was thoroughly pleasant again.

He's got a fantastic laugh.

Wow, lucky you! Very Happy That's a really nice story!

And I think it is very brave you said something to him, even though you felt a bit stupid! My mum once was on a party in London and Sting was there (my mum's a big fan) but she daren't say anything to him. She still regrets it!
