I think I'm going to have to draw a line in the sand in respect of ticket offers and say that if you haven't confirmed to me that you want your tickets to Liverpool, they will now be offered to someone on the standby list.

I've sent at least two e-mails now to every initial winner that hasn't yet confirmed, the first on Monday afternoon as promised with a reminder on Wednesday and allowed some additional time due to the problems with how Hotmail handled the messages. I know that some of the people I was expecting to hear from have been logged in to the MB and/or posted since their announcements were sent, so have had plenty of opportunity to read the messages posted in two places here.

If there is a genuine reason why you were unable to respond sooner I'll do my best to honour the official ticket offer, but I am now going to allocate the tickets to other people, making the assumption that failure to confirm as requested, means that you do not require the tickets offered.

If anyone has sent messages to the e-mail address I've been using for the ticket competition (competitions (at) goodsouls.org.uk) and not had a reply in the last few hours, it's because my hosts are moving some servers into new premises, the entire Good Souls site and mailboxes are out of commission for the day. I'll deal with them promptly as soon as it is up and running again, hopefully later today.

I've now replied to all the messages received to date.

Some more tickets are available

A handful more tickets have become available, so if anyone would still like to go that hasn't already been allocated any, or if anyone already going would like additional tickets, please drop me an e-mail - do not send a PM or post here, I need it by e-mail to help me track it better please.

Everyone who entered the competition or has approached me since has now been offered places - although you must have confirmed back to me that you wanted to go, to have secured the tickets, a winning notification in itself has not secured you tickets. Unless you have a subsequent message from me saying that your name is on the list and it's confirmed, you do not have tickets automatically.

It's so close now that I'd like to ensure that everyone who wants to go gets the chance and no tickets are wasted. If I don't already have your full details, please include your name and address and a mobile number.

I now have sight of the actual tickets, please be aware that they feature the wording quoted below - this is a BBC event and is being radio broadcast/recorded which makes it rather different to a standard Starsailor gig:

I have placed the tickets allocated to each person in an envelope with their name on and these, along with a full list of winners' details, will be left at the box office - just give your name. The envelopes are clearly marked as Starsailor web site tickets.

Having done that exercise, I now have a handful of tickets left, if anyone wants them, either new people or existing ticket holders wanting more, send me an e-mail with your full name and address and a mobile number and I'll give them out on a first come first served basis as I think by now, everyone I was holding them for, won't be able to get there.
