First sorry for posting this in 2 forums, I meant to do it here, anyway
I really hate to do this , but as James Walsh is one of my fave lyricists, I want to ask fellow fans and invite you all to be beta testers and content providers for FlyingRoman.com lyric meaning and discussion and interpretation
It's a lyric site, but much much more than that. Its a user driven discussion of lyrics as poetry. The music itself it asked to be ignored, we are discussing the ltrical content. Please visit and add some titles and some posts with yur thoughts on the content. I should say this is a not for profit venture and entirely community driven in the spirit of the internet.
THANKS!!!

No mate, I'm far too stupid to have my own site !!!
Here's a website link to one of the best lyricists I know -
Dave Couse (from his days with a band called A House, sadly defunct, but he's now solo)

I don't know if you need permission to put them on your site, give it a look anyway _________________ Did I mention I met Yes on the 16th June ? |

Nice site, Scott. I enjoyed it.
Have you ever seen Beautiful South live?
I've seen them a couple of times. They're some of the best gigs I've been to.
As far as website development/design/programming, you're way ahead of me. I'm planning to finally submit and take some web design classes in the New Year. You know, HTML, Flash, Dreamweaver, whatever. I know a little ImageReady though.
Well, good luck. Have a nice weekend. |

I'm weary of writing down what I think a song's lyrics mean. There's too much emotion involved, for me anyway. It means so many things, it transports your mind in so many different ways. It's hard for me to put it down.
I think your interpretation is good, it's not way off at all. I liked that you picked up on his wanting to offer protection.
Oh well, that's it for now. Maybe I'll do better next time. |

Thats interesting, trelac. i'm glad you don't think Im off, i didn't go into much detail, but I will eventually.
About personal, that's actually exactly what the site is intended for. Of course, no one can make you express your darkest feelings to strangers living all over the world, but I'd like flyingroman.com to become that sort of community. That's the major reason why we don't require users the register. You can use a different name every time if you want and nobody will be able to pinpoint who it is expressing. Me, on the other hand have always worn my heart on my sleeve and my life has always been an open book, so i use my full name

Yeah, I know, you're near Niagara Falls, right?
I'm in beautiful Westchester County, just north of NYC. |
