is there any plan to play festivals this year?
alot of them are getting booked up and no rumours or mention of starsailor yet.
if you could let us know it would be nice

Apologies, I didn't even see it, for some reason the bottom two forums don't always show me new topics and so I tend to look at the dates for new posts, but just didn't spot this - there's a lot of posting here and I get a huge amount of direct questions asked too and sometimes, despite my best intentions, I miss oddments.
Paul's right, there's simply nothing been announced yet and we just don't entertain rumours at all. We'll only ever discuss gigs and appearances that are formally confirmed and there just aren't any yet - all the latest news is on the main site and all confirmed gigs are detailed, when there are any, in the calendar.
The lads are about to start in the studio, literally next week, to record the final version of the third album, so full touring is simply not on the cards for this summer, although there may be odd one-off gigs and appearances. Any confirmed dates will be announced as soon as they are finalised, so keep your eye on the site.
