I noticed that...I thought it had been chucked at him....but I think it might be the camera angle....I hope so _________________ mojo.1. A spell induced through the magical hidden elements of music, elevating both the mood of the listener and performer |

You're right - looks like a bottle of coke - and there's a similar object thrown onto the stage at 25 seconds too.
I had a ticket for this but couldn't go in the end - glad I didn't if that's the type of crowd there that night |

I saw my other fave band at the Apollo a few years ago. The crowd was wild. My hair and the camera drank many many glasses of beer at the front . |

Last time I was in the pit at the Apollo I spent the entire time ducking to avoid bottles - it's the only time I've experienced that at an indoor venue - it happens at festivals, but not usually inside like that. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

Fortunately for me, don't remember to have seen that before, even during outdoor events... I've seen roses thrown but no bottles or glasses ... _________________ Turn your head to face the sun

Mr Boo has just heard this on XFM, so I haven't got official details, but in the Jason Manford show on Christmas Day morning (25th December 06:00am to 10:00am) the trailers say that James is popping in for a chat and playing a couple of live songs, which I assume must have already been recorded when James was in Manchester for the Winter Wonderland gig.
And this is followed later on Christmas Day by another show featuring some of the Winter Wonderland gig - from 2:00pm to 7:00pm.
See: http://www.xfmmanchester.co.uk/article.asp?id=323087
I'll see what more I can find out about James's appearance on Christmas Day. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

Great !!! Thanks Boo & Mr Boo, and thanks to the listen again option (I'll be on the beach for a Xmas barbecue, if no rain ...)

Thanks for the heads up on that Boo.
I'm at the Apollo for two nights running in January to see another artist, but don't think we'll be having bottle throwing that night - it's just not that type of crowd . It's that James Blunt fella - keep your opinions to yourselves on this please !, but it was thanks to JB that I found Starsailor, who I saw supporting him on his US tour last year. |
