That is good news. I just hope we get plenty of notice re upcoming gigs. |
I post here, within mere minutes usually, of the band confirming events - the agents copy me the confirmation messages - and often I know a little in advance that they might do something and prepare my post ready and as soon as I get the nod, post it immediately. It's not humanly possible for me to post news any faster than I do.
With festivals and the like, it's rather different, as the band will have contractual obligations about when and how they can announce their attendance. For example, with the IOW, the contract stipulated that we couldn't announce before 8pm on the particular day and you'll see from my post that I posted at exactly 8pm. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

^Agreed!
I hope, by the grace of God, that a Starsailor gig falls on one of the days that I've a free day during my visit to the UK this coming July (I get to be a tourist!!)
I told my cousin I would skip any day of the tour to go and see them, but she said she'd leave me wherever I was, 'cuz she ain't missing no part of the UK tour for Starsailor. Clearly, she is not as devoted as I thought </3
It's a shame that the tickets to this IOW thing sold out already though-- must be a kick in the teeth for someone who would've been able to make it but didn't manage to get tickets! _________________ Can you feel it?

I think we'll be able to catch at least some parts of the festival on the Virgin radio website:
http://www.virginradio.co.uk/?source=listenpage
They're still some pieces of the IOW 2007 availlable, so ... _________________ Turn your head to face the sun

We've booked a tour with Globus and they're showing us around London, Bath, Stratford, North Wales, Chester, Edinburgh, and York. We ge to see all the typical tourist stuff in London, Ornamental gardens, Stonehenge, a cruise on the Thames, Anne Hathaway's cottage, Gretna Green, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Shambles, Belvoir Castle 'n some other stuff. I'm super excited-- I've always wanted to visit England!
Although secretly, at least 40% of me pushed so hard to get this trip so I just might be able to see Starsailor.....but don't tell my mom that! _________________ Can you feel it?
