From The Locust magazine - written by Pete Steel
**** (4 stars)
Despite its lofty presence in 2001's end of year polls 'Love Is Here' was guilty of hiding behind a fear for the unknown; 'Silence Is Easy' makes no such concessions. Self-assured and towering in stature, Starsailor's second album benefits vastly from experience. Opening with the thunderous (by Starsailor standards) rush of 'Music Was Saved', it swells with a bruised confidence, pushing Starsailor's sound far beyond the self-imposed boundaries of their debut. The Phil Spector-produced 'Four To The Floor' **this is incorrect** and the title track add further muscle to the bone as James Walsh's soaring falsetto adds melody and feel across an album that's both colossal in feel yet humble and engaging. Destined to reaffirm Starsailor's right to a place on the top table, 'Silence Is Easy' is everything Starsailor once promised. And more.
Apart from the wrong information Phil Spector didnt co-produce FFTF it was White Dove a good review. _________________
