tonight begins my week of starsailing which will consist of four regular shows, one instore and a possible tv taping...not looking forward to getting back to nyc at 5am and having to go to work tomorrow...hmmmm, perhaps a sick day is in order?

will post about tonight's show tomorrow....

i think biny and i are leading dual lives...

i will also be at the next four shows (boston-dc) and the virgin instore, and the fuse taping...i was at the boston radio mini show yesterday...

we should meet up!

Hi, everyone. I was "that fan that drove 2 hours from Ct and snuck in for soundcheck" that James dedicated Love Is Here for me. That was too cool of him, and suprised the heck outta me. I did manage to sneak in for the soundcheck, which is always fun. After they were done, I had them sign my Silence CD, a single, and the Born Again bootleg cd that I got from someone off the mailing list. Half the band had never seen it before. Stel even commented to me that he recognized me from the past. I met them 2 years ago on 2 occasions. Odd.
My highlight of the show besides the dedication, was James did an acoustic version of Where The Streets Have No Name in honor of U2 starting their American assault many many years ago at the Paradise club.
Very satisfying gig to say the least. Thanks guys!!

BUGGER!! hahaha you ARE a lucky fellar...i yelled out stel is beautiful!!...he is very...i saw a little clip of the show on much more music..it was swell.

i was hoping that i would see the wtshnn cover...it was the only cover of the night...the only other variation from the setlist was 'restless heart' which was played in between fever and good souls at the request of two people in the front row...

someone requested 'thunder road' and james said 'come to new york and i'll play it"

more later but i should actually do some work

got a few good photos from the show as well

Originally James Came up to me first, asked my name - and told the audience it was my birthday and my husband and I drove 2 hours to get there, THEN people started screaming out where they all drove in from- turning my birthday "Love Is Here" into EVERYONES!!!!

So- it was a big dedication!!!! Very Happy

I didn't mean to come off as snotty- I am not that way- it was just really cool the way James did remember it was my birthday- because I ran out into the street with my Cd's as soon as they got to The Paradise- we were really early, and were hanging out at the Pub near the club- as soon as I saw Barry- I flew outside and came up to James and told him "Love Is Here" is my favorate song and it was my birthday,( I was too excited to sound normal!!!) and he was so kind and signed my stuff and Ben took my CD's into the bus for the rest of the band to sign.

and I dont think they will coming to Jakarta heiks... Crying or Very sad

But maybe after Arkarna, Cranberries, Suede and KORN this Feb 5th in Jakarta, Starsailor will make up their mind to make a great gig also here Razz

and I'll tell them my b'day LOLz...
