The show was wonderful. James covered "Thunder Road" and - in a very happy surprise - "All I want is You." He also did "Streets" at the end again. I saw them in Philly as well, and I think the DC show might not have been quite as energetic at the start (took the crowd a song or two to get into it), but then it was simply amazing. No "Restless Heart." "Silence is Easy," "Tie up my Hands," and "Goodsouls" were of course wonderful. I always love "Born Again." They appeared to have fun with it, and watched Johnathan Rice from the balcony above the stage - Stel threw a piece of paper to him during his set that apparently said "Starsailor loves Johnathan Rice." It was amusing. Johnathan Rice sent the same message of love back to them as a note on a setlist, I guess. I'm sure I'll think of more things later...all in all though, I loved it. No surprise there, but as objectively as possible, I can just say it was a wonderful gig. _________________ "Life is but a memory / Happened long ago.

Great show from the lads. Watching the show from the 9:30 DJ booth, allowed me to see how really into the band the audience was. Here is my setlist from the evening if anyone is interested in checking it out. |
