Hello!

This is my first post as you can probably guess. Just wanted to say that I saw Starsailor for the first time at the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis Thursday night and they were BRILLIANT!!! My friends and I were lucky to get a perfect spot up front right next to the stage...oooooooh..exciting! So that was a nice bonus--it was cool to hear such great music and be able to actually see the band playing. I've been a fan of the Love Is Here album and now I must run out and get Silence Is Easy. Loved the "old" songs (Love is Here gave me chills!) and the new ones as well.

Well done lads! Come back to Minneapolis soon!!!! Don't be like Travis and skip over us (yea, I'm a bit bitter about that).

i was there also. slightly to the left of james. wearing a red scarf and black sweater. was there alone but the drunk man and his girlfriend next to me started up a conversation and told me i was with them. Razz

the show was amazing but was anyone else cold?! it was so drafty up there.

Yeah the show was amazing, I agree. I also agree that it was kind of cold in there. I thought I felt drafts every now and then coming from the back door getting opened. Were you to the left of James facing the stage? Or HIS left? Facing the stage, I was to the far left of James and right in front of the stairs that led up to the stage, if that makes sense. The crazy "Fever dude" who kept yelling THERES A FEVER was right behind us. Swear to God, I always end up by the obnoxious drunk in the place. Was funny though. My friend's boyfriend had 7 long islands and got pretty plastered. I was worried towards the end that he was going to get punched in the face, because he started doing these really horrible embarrassing "dance moves"--waving his arms all over the place. Looked more like drunk aerobics to me! God I love concerts.

Are you going to see the Stereophonics at the Quest on Feb 21st?

Oh, back to Starsailor show...do you remember the maraca man?? After the show he kept harrassing me to go see Gomez the next night. He got mad at me because I told the bartender that he had snowpants in his bag. hahahaaaaa. snowpants! Sorry, maybe I'm the only one to find that amusing...?

yes! i remember maraca man and drunk aerobics man. too funny.

i think it's great how the band interacts with the crowd.

that and james' butt was like, a foot away from me when he went to shake maraca man's hand.

Hi there, I am yet another person who went to the Starsailor show last Thursday, it was my first concert I have ever been. WOW, it was freakin' awesome! I was about 5 or 6 rows from the front in the middle, got a nice clear view the entire time. Smile

Aha! You were probably standing right by me! Or very close at least. Weird huh. Haha...Drunk Aerobics Man..yeahh..I was with him. Well I kept telling people that we found him freezing out on the street and invited him inside with us.

I JUST got the Silence Is Easy CD...like 15 minutes ago. Haven't listened yet, but will soon! Whoooooooooooo...exciting!!

Damn all of this snow! I've been out driving in this shite since 1.00.

I don't quite remember the drunk aerobics man, but I do remember hearing someone sing Fever, and someone else with maracas! I didn't like that Mathew Bryan guy too much though.

why hello there fellow minnesotians!! I was there last Thursday also!! Might I say a fantabulous show!!!! It took my a while to post this, but hey... at least I finally did it, I am new at this kinda stuff!!! ANYWAY! From what I read you all were at the front diggin it, as for me, I was in the back, haha, one of the only ones groovin... definately got some weird glars, but hey, what can I say!! haha... I first heard Starsailors song "good souls" but I just love the entire Love is here cd... cant stop listening, just cant do it. MAN... when they started love is here, MAN, that was hott! James suggested couples to make out, I was bummed cuz I had no other... it was still hott though!!

Yup, we did have a sweet spot. And I apologize wholeheartedly to everyone in our viscinity in regards to my "drunk aerobics" boyfriend. He needs to learn how to control his liquor...LOL!

It was my first time as well hearing their music and I was floored...*starts singing "four to the floor i was sure..."*!!!! I really hope the stations in the US start playing more of their stuff.

Hello fellow Minnesotans. I was at the Fine Line show, too. I actually posted a while back, but have been so busy I have not been back - so I wanted to say thank you to those who welcomed me to the board.

It was a lovely show. I hope they come back soon.

Any of you MN folks planning on seeing The Vines/Jet on 3/28. Should be awesome.
