Just wanted to say an AmazinG show was put on by Starsailor last night *or not last night depending on when this is read*, but I also wanted to give a big hand to the Lighting designer and sound operator.
I've been to much larger venues with more known bands who have millions of more dollars to spend on the technical area, but they couldnt even come close to putting on a light show as last night. The intimate setting was perfect for smokin out the room to than throw up the lights so you can see their rays goin thru the air. Awesome job to that. And the moving gobo's were awesome looking too with it pointing toward the audience which is rarely done correctly. In my opinion, the lighting game last night was a spectacle.
The sound was also great...very nicely equalized, since i was standing right next to the speaker hah, it had a very nice clarity to it. Although the treble was a bit much during the Beach Boys songs while the band was gettin prepped up, it was all good for the show. Loved it. Great job to the Sound Op.
So a big shout to those designers. nice job. good to see some good time put into the event.
Thanks to Starsailor and team for giving my friends and myself a memorable night ! |

Omg! I totally agree (just found this forum, and glad i did!). That was one of the best performances I've seen mself. And amzingly, I too noticed the lighting effects, which is something I normally do not notice.
*Snaps for Starsailor*
