Yesterday I went to a small concert of Starsailor at the BNN that's life. Very nice small cafe. Only 55 people were allowed to vistit. The music was good, but unfortunately the guys from Starsailor didn't really care anout their fans. They were watching a soccergame while playing a song.
I think that's very RUDE. They don't respect their fans. I was able to squeeze a autograhp from 3 of them, but the pianist is just a little to shy to be in a band like starsailor. He was gone in two minutes.
What do you think about this?
My opinion is that if starsailor wants to be big in the rest of europe they should start acting professional and respect their fans! |

I can imagine that it's hard to drum up enthusiasm when you're in such a small venue. Bands sometimes need to feed off their fan's enthusiasm in able to perform well.
I'm not using this as an excuse, I wan't there, so I don't know how poor it was for you. I know I wouldn't be happy if I'd had a similar experience. _________________ *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*

i think it also depends on how many "true fans" that were at the venue...i can suppose that playing for a crowd where like 5 to 10 of them kinda know the music/songs must be hard if the rest stays passive...can't judge neither...but it's always easier to play for fans than to play for people that won tickets and just went because they won... _________________ if dreams are like movies, then memories are films about ghosts... |

I do understand what you are saying... I was there aswell and they played a little uninterested because of the soccer...
But still... I got the opportunity to get a picture of me and James taken and I got all 4 autographs... I thought they where pretty nice walking around through the crowd and coming out of their room at the end of the show to see 'de tafel van elf' performing.
I don't think you can aspect them always to be full of enthusiasm for their fans... They do this every day, so I think their happy playing so "relaxed' for a small group, chilling and watching soccer... give them a break... _________________ An optimist laughs to forget, a pessimist forgets to laugh.
