hey there,
welcome to the board. i'm also from houston!! and i've also been a fan for years. frustrating, ain't it?
they were supposed to be at SXSW in austin last month, but that didn't happen, so we're still waiting...........
but that's really cool to have another houston fan!! i'm excited. i've also tried getting them played on the buzz, but nothing yet. |

Please don't make it sound like they let people down by just failing to turn up. Someone started an inappropriate rumour that they were doing it, it was never anything more than that.

Indeed they did, at the Engine Room in Houston on Wednesday 13th March in 2002.

| Oh man I cant believe that. But i have also tried to get them played on the buzz but no luck there, I think they are long over due to headline a show in houston though! |

sorry, boo. yes i was a victim of the rumor, got my hopes up, and that's where that came from. sorry again.
yes, i know they played in houston, but that was before i knew of starsailor, two years ago.
just waiting for them to come back. |

I have friends in Texas so when Starsailor do play there again I'm going to make them all go along. Some of them went last time the band played and I think they were quite impressed.

now 'Boo...i don't think it was an inappropriate rumor...i said that they were slated to appear as it was on the SXSW website...also this was confirmed by a member of the band who told me they were going to be at sxsw on a bill with the polyphonic spree.
i was all ready to book a plane ticket myself but waited until there was confirmation |
