Well that's around the size they're supposed to be - 65x65 pixels.

Avatars are recommended to be around 65 pixels square, but this board doesn't automatically re-size the image to that size, like some boards do - it will show it at whatever size the image file is.

There are two sizes to consider, the data size which determines how long the image takes to download, the recommendation is 6KB and I would like that strictly adhered to. Then there are the physical dimensions it occupies in the page - my own personal guidance when working on images for people, is under about 80-90 pixels (as long as the 6KB is observed) and as long as it doesn't interfere with the page layout. Unfortunately this one does so will need to be either re-sized to under 90 pixels wide, or a new one selected.

It looks like a simple error in the file URL, you've either copied and pasted it wrong, the file has been moved, deleted or re-named, or you made a typo. I can't see an obvious error to correct for you. Sorry, I can't be more helpful, you need to check the URL of the file you want to use.

Some web hosts simply don't allow remote linking of this nature either, so you'd need to check that also.
