It's on no Starsailor-album, just know that it's on the "Alcoholic"-single.
But it's on is Bill Withers' album "Lean on me/Best of". _________________

Yours must be one of the different mixes of tracks for other regions. I knew there were different combinations in Australia etc., but not in Europe.
Did you buy it on import or through eBay etc.?
In the UK, the standard releases were;
CD1: Alcoholic, Alcoholic (original), Let It Shine and Alcoholic video
CD2: Alcolholic, Grandma's Hands, Good Souls (Soulsavers remix) _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive at Starsailor.net

I got it from a DJ at a Starsailor-Release Party, don't know where they got it from..... _________________

I first heard this song by Simply Red years ago (its on the Montreaux EP) but think the Starsailor version is excellent (obviously....!) _________________ One good day of the week and I'll be up again... |

The song was originally a hit for, and was written by, Bill Withers, an extremely prolific song writer. The original hit was in something like 1972 and it's been recorded many times since. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive at Starsailor.net

Yeah, I knew it was a cover just didn't know who sang it first. Cheers Boo
By the way have you heard Macy Gray's song 'Boo' (off her second album)?
Quite good ('If this is love its a good thing you don't hate me...') - I've got quite an eclectic musical taste - is that the right word?
I'll get me coat.... _________________ One good day of the week and I'll be up again... |

No, I'll have to look it out. One of the chaps in Black Eyes Peas (however it's spelt) is called Boo as well.
If you have a look at Bill Withers's back catalogue I bet you'll find that he's written a lot of songs you'd know but didn't know who wrote them, he has a huge body of work under his belt. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive at Starsailor.net
