'Boo

I had the most wonderful evening in Preston, the band sounded and looked fabulous and clearly had enormous fun, as did the crowd, including James's grandma, who was guest of honour. It made me realise how long it is since I've seen them and how much I missed it.

I'll put together something more lucid tomorrow, I'm very pooped now. I took a lot of photos and these are a few quickies picked at random to keep you going.

You really can see how much they were enjoying it too. Even Stel is displaying something that could be read as a smile Wink

It's amazing how much energy bands can produce when they're really enjoying what they're doing. All that energy! Aaaah I wish I lived in the UK.

What a fab gig it was last night. Just when you think they can't possibly get any better they do. I thought it was you taking photos boo - they're fantastic and im glad you had a nice time.

Me and my fried were in prime position just slightly off centre at the very front. I am never going to stand anywhere else after that - its was a perfect view.

More or less same set list as before with the exception of 'songbird' by Oasis thrown in. Im soo loving 'Tell me its not over' and think this sould definitly be the next single.

Nice pics there, Boo. Cracking job as always and really glad you had a good night out. Im gonna be waiting until the big tour to see them now (cusses good for nothing friend) but as their had been a little speculation about James' new look I for one will say I think hes looking t'riffic! Almost like a greek statue from the profile. The boy has a perfect nose.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I did discuss the facial hair with him and he asked what you all thought (although I know he's been reading it). We concluded that everyone seemed to be warming to it as they got used to it.

I gave it a stroke for you ladies, it is a full-on whiskery beard, not as thin and soft as it looks in photos as the colour sort of blends with his skin under stage lights.

I didn't get close enough to Stel to test for certain, but at a glance I'd say James was winning now. I'll try and investigate further tomorrow, purely in the public interest of course. Wink
