I first heard Starsailor in las vegas opening for James Blunt last autumn and was wondering/hoping you all might be touring the US again soon, Any chance?

Not for a little while I suspect. When you saw them with James Blunt they had only been able to take that spot at very short notice, after someone in the previously scheduled opener had fallen ill, because they'd just finished their own US tour and their gear was still Stateside. The Blunt tour followed their own by something like 9 days. Then James returned a little while later and did a mini acoustic tour.

They have a few summer festivals in Europe on the schedule, then they're into the studio to final record the fourth album they're currently working on, then it will be the process of putting together the finished article, promoting and releasing it - hopefully at the start of 2008 this side of the Atlantic at least.

I would guess, based on previous patterns, that they'd not get Stateside again until the album is due for release there, probably after the UK and Europe.

Thanks Boo. Dissapointing, but it sounds like they have a lot on their plate keeping them busy at least.

Lucky we got to see them when we did Smile

I hope they come back to Canada soon.
I last saw them at James Blunt's concert in Vancouver last November and I was too excited to see JB to pay alot of attention to Starsailor, which I now regret! I did get a picture with them, though, and an autograph.
My cousin and I are taking a trip to the UK next summer as a sort of graduation present so hopefully we'll be able to catch them there (and perahps Take That, too! )
