I am grateful for each minute it isn't raining here I have to walk a lot, hence my concern.
I'm still trying to get used to the no bike system. If anyone knows, please tell me how you get back home after a gig (or something similar) when it's too late to take a bus?

Is there no bus at all during the night in Cork ? Actually, I came back by foot yesterday night, my suburb being quite safe in the evening...
Otherwise, no other choice than to take a taxi or to find a friend who's got a car ...

The latest bus leaves around 23:30 and gigs start pretty late here. Even so, night buses are horrible in my opinion. I've taken one in Amsterdam - never again please!
I guess it's a taxi then. I would have to walk appr. 45 minutes and I'm not comfortable doing so in a foreign city, especially not on my own. But I haven't any gigs coming up yet, so I can wonder about this some more hehe.

Ouch, I just read. Even if it was a soft landing, I bet you stiffen up tomorrow though from the fall - it wrenches lots of muscles - maybe a hot bath before bed would be a good idea.

I ached for about three days after that fall, 'Boo!!! I make sure I go down that slope very carefully now!!!
It was the undignified way I went over that was the worst thing, though!!I am glad there was no one about!! The dogs went mad when I fell! I think they thought I was playing around!!!
