Starsailor are very pleased to announce their forthcoming UK tour, dates below, to support the release of All The Plans, starting at the end of March in Glasgow.
This is the boys' message which will be mailed out shortly to the database:
Starting from tomorrow (Wednesday), we have an exclusive pre-order. We've just got to grips with it ourselves, so here goes:
If you order the deluxe version of All The Plans, you will immediately have access to the Boy In Waiting digital EP (for free!) You will also be able to purchase a ticket for the tour for a 48 hour window before they go on general sale.
The Boy In Waiting digital EP is as follows:
1. Boy In Waiting (album track)
2. Do You Believe In Love? (exclusive non album track)
3. Black Limousine (exclusive non album track)
4. Darling Be Home Soon (acoustic Loving Spoonful cover)
The deluxe album will have an extended booklet and will come with an additional cd of acoustic songs. These comprise a selection of the album tracks stripped down to the form that James originally composed them. There'll also be a brand new acoustic song unavailable elsewhere.
Even though the exclusive access to tickets ends after 48 hours the Boy In Waiting EP will be available to anyone ordering the deluxe album via http://www.starsailor.net right up until album release.
We hope that all makes sense and those of you that get hold of the digital EP enjoy it.
Speak soon,
James, Stel, Ben and Baz.
Deluxe CD and Digital EP Pre-sale:
The pre-sale for the Deluxe CD and ticket option starts at 09:00am on Wednesday 3rd December and tour tickets go on general sale from 09:00am on Friday 5th December.
But to summarise - you have 3 pre-sale purchase options available:
1. Pre-order the Deluxe CD (with extended booklet and extra CD of acoustic songs) @ £14.99 and get immediate access to the free Boy in Waiting digital EP and an option to the tour ticket pre-sales for 48 hours before general release. You need to buy the CD then select 'back to shop' and then 'buy tickets' and you now have access to the tour list. Your digital EP is via a download link sent in a separate e-mail after purchase - you'll get one confirming the sale, then another with the link.
Tickets are £16 for all venues except London which is £17.50. So the price of a regional ticket and deluxe CD will be £30.99 + fees and £32.49 + fees for London.
2. Pre-order the Deluxe CD @ £14.99 and get immediate access to the free digital EP - without tour tickets. Your digital EP is via a download link sent in a separate e-mail after purchase - you'll get one confirming the sale, then another with the link.
3. Pre-order the standard CD from Amazon. But then you'd miss out on all those acoustic lovelies and the free digital EP - £9.99.
This is the advert that will appear shortly and gives a brief snippet of the album sleeve artwork. The telephone numbers in the advert are the box offices - the numbers I've posted above are for the venue itself if you have queries about matters like disabled access etc.
Couldn't have said it better myself Mandie. I know these gigs will be tinged with sadness too, but its also very exciting.
I'll be ordering the CD first thing!
Bristol, Bristol, Bristol. Thank you. Anyone want to crash on our swanky new sofa bed?
Wolverhampton is not very far from my folks, they can be on babysitting duty.
That would still give me the ability to get to 1 other gig leaving Toby overnight, so who wants to go where?! _________________ Like a platform for my ideals, where my hurt will never show
YES YES YES...........having missed the acoustic shows and Hard Rock, I need to catch up on the band!
