This topic, which is mirrored in two places on the message board, as an announcement at the top of each of the FAQ and Anything forums, will serve as a news summary of all on-going Starsailor events scheduled.
I'll update it with all new items announced and remove events shortly after they pass. New items will be indicated with ~ NEW ~ and any events where we post subsequent information, or details change, will be noted thus: ~ Details updated ~ and if appropriate, the specifics of the change, highlighted.
The date of the latest version of this information is indicated in the subject line.
Starsailor are Back!
Starsailor are delighted to announce that after the much publicised takeover of their record company, they now have a new record label (Virgin) and a whole new team of people working to promote our fourth record. It will be called 'All The Plans' and will be released on the 9th March 2009. It will be preceded by a single, 'Tell Me It's Not Over,' to be released on Monday 2nd March 2009. ~ Details updated ~

The band have put together a new video for you, from behind the scenes when making the video recently for Tell Me It's Not Over.

Radio and media:
I'll try and list any forthcoming radio or media appearances during the run up to the release of All the Plans.
Tuesday 13th January 2009, from 8pm - BBC Radio 2 with Mark Radcliffe and Start Maconie - 3 songs live to air. there is an iPlayer link at the top of the page linked above to listen live on the web site and shows are archived in Listen Again for a week after transmission.
19th and 21st January 2009, Absolute Radio
James went into Absolute to record some tracks and have a chat last week. This will be aired in two parts on Geoff Lloyd's Hometime Show the first session on Monday the 19th January and the second part on Wednesday 21st January. You can listen and watch via their website.
Channel Bee interview and acoustic performance
James and Stel have done an interview and James performed live on web TV channel, Channel Bee. Available from Thursday 22nd January at http://channelbee.com/move/ ~ NEW ~

Starsailor are doing a small intimate show at the The Luminaire in Kilburn, North London on Wednesday 11th February. Tickets go on pre-sale on Friday 23rd January and on general sale on the following Tuesday. See Starsailor's announcement of the event.
Starsailor on bill with Franz Ferdinand at MTV Winter Valencia 2009. ~ NEW ~
Franz Ferdinand have asked the band to join them playing at MTV Winter Valencia 2009 on the 24th February at Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Further details to follow.
2009 UK tour announced!

Tour support:
support for the UK dates will be Pete Greenwood - and The Parlotones. Pete will also be playing guitar with the band in their set.
James does track for Benefit CD:
James has recorded an acoustic version of Military Madness by Graham Nash for a forthcoming benefit CD; SERVE3 to be released on Tuesday 4th November. The CD is available digitally and as a physical copy to support the Hard Rock International campaign "Imagine There's No Hunger" to raise awareness and funding for WHY (World Hunger Year) in its fight against hunger and poverty.
