Cinemagic to host music extravaganza in Belfast!
CinemagicMusic is the first event of its kind to be ever staged in the UK and Ireland and boasts an impressive and eclectic three day programme (22nd - 24th June inc.) of music masterclasses, Q&As, panel discussions, 'Making the Band' challenge, and outdoor concerts to be staged at Belfast’s Custom House Square.
A series of unique events led by top music professionals (Damon Minchella, Steve White, Andy Cairns, John Modi and CeCe Sammy, Eric Bell, Kevin Godley and Alan McGee, amongst others) will kick off CinemagicMusic, offering young people (aged 10-15 and 15-25) interested in the music business a rare opportunity to learn more about, and gain an insight into, the industry.
The major highlight of CinemagicMusic will be two outdoor music concerts on 23rd and 24th June at Belfast’s Custom House Square. The star-studded line-up so far includes Starsailor, Players, Journey South, Ben Lee Tyler and Aslan as well as several local up and coming bands including the recent winners of BBC NI’s Across The Line Rockschool, The Tides, with more acts to be confirmed.
Starsailor will be playing on Saturday 24th June at the outdoor concert in the Custom House Square in Belfast - tickets to go on sale shortly, details to follow as soon as available.
See http://www.cinemagic.org.uk for more details - although as of posting, it's not been launched yet - that's how new this news is! _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

I was expecting to be let know when they would go on sale and the official site isn't up and running yet, but the press release I have gives this information as the ticket seller and checking it now, they do appear to be on sale on the web site at least.
You can buy tickets either in person from the Cinemagic offices on Botanic Avenue in Belfast or from the NI Events Company on 028 90 66 6661 or from: http://www.nievents.co.uk/event/view.asp?ID=3892 Tickets are £22 per night, or £36 for the weekend. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

I am considering this as I have just heard that Leya are supporting - my new "find", but only seen them the once!
Would love to see Leya and Starsailor on the same bill!

That's still the holding information that was always there, maybe they're not going to do anything more, but when the event was launched last month, I was told more would be added to the site shortly, but that's still the same. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

OK, but I didnt notice that before! It seems pretty self-explanatory.
Still thinking about going, but cant find a flight for less than £75 which is a bit more than we hoped for.

I'm also thinking about going, but I'm awaiting a reply from an email I sent a few days ago to the organisers making sure I can take my 7 yr old daughter with me. I wonder how much the coach tickets are. Might have a look at their website.Which airline were you looking at ? Was it Ryanair? |

I would be very surprised if they wouldn't allow children in, bearing in mind it's actually a youth project from 10 year olds upwards; "The CineMagic Music Festival for Young People".
I can't see anything in the programme or press information which suggests any age restrictions. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

That's what I was hoping! My daughter is dying to see them live;she knows all the words of the songs. Belfast looks like a good place to take her to see them as most of the English gigs are over 18's. Roll on may 24th when I get paid and I can order my tickets. |
