As the sun is shining, it's a long weekend and I have a pepperoni pizza in the fridge I thought it would be great if people would post about the things in their lives that they're grateful for. It doesn't have to be big, in fact the smaller the better - it's the little things we experience every day, and truly appreciate, that make the most difference.
Apart from the pizza I'm grateful today for my health, my great friends and family, my CDs, Cadbury's Turkish Delight chocolate, the relaxing smell of lavender from my oil burner, and, of course, my PC!
Anyone else up for a bit of an Attitude of Gratitude?

what a great idea.
I am grateful for the health of myself, my family and friends. For having a truly wonderful husband and son. For having the best, most supportive parents a girl could ask for.
And am I ever grateful that it looks as though Spring is finally here!
oh ok and Im grateful for the fact that aforementioned husband and son have gone to the park and I can blob out on the sofa for a while drinking tea and eating a Ripple! _________________ Soon after dark emily cries, gazing through trees in sorrow hardly a sound till tomorrow

I am gratefull for my dear friends , for all the beautifull music I have ,
for the very old cheese I found on the market today ,

There simply isn't room here for all the things I'm grateful at this particular time in my life - but without question the biggie is my gratitude to the wonderful staff of Fairfield General Hospital in Bury that saved my husband's life - especially A&E, the theatre staff and surgeons who gave up a night of sleep and the amazing, gentle, patient people in ICU.
The fact that he's downstairs right now sulking because I wouldn't buy him the timber pixie house - with balcony - in B&Q is purely down to that team of incredible people. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

This is a lovely idea for a topic.
I'm grateful for my parents...who show their support continually. Sometimes they may get a little overprotective and annoy me about school grades. But I know they do it out of worry, and they want to see me realise my dreams.
I'm grateful for my true friends...who listen to me and show me they care for me everyday.
I'm grateful for spring...that chases away all the dreariness of winter. I love seeing the buds growing on the trees, and the fact that I can walk to school with just a jacket on.
I'm grateful for the people on this board who helped me and supported me through my, what seems now, trivial teenage dramas . I'm also gratful for you guys because you helped me discover wonderful singers and bands that aren't getting the recognition they should be getting. _________________ ~~I got enough respite to keep on trying. What a really nice Topic, Elaine.
There are so many things I am grateful for, but I will start with my family (including the animals) and friends who I all love so much. My life just wouldnt be the same without you all. That includes all you lovely people on this messageboard, of course. _________________ A Moomin is for life, not just for Christmas.xxx

Hard question
I'm grateful for everything in the life, the good and the bad (which makes me appreciate the good even better) . |

Nice topic!
Right now I'm grateful for the friend that supported me when I really needed him even though he didn't know I needed support
I'm also grateful for the fact that I can go to uni and study the things I like.
Last but not least I'm grateful for having such wonderful parents
Oh, and right now I'm grateful for having a nice bed to sleep in! _________________

10 years ago I had cancer and while going through treatment someone suggested keeping a little book of gratitudes. At first I thought it was a bit corny and some of it would be stating the obvious (like being still alive and having the most wonderful hubby!!) you start to notice the small things and random acts of kindness and thats when your whole outlook changes. You become more aware and receptive to good things and positivity. Its a very very powerful thing to do and worth persevering with.
Well done for suggesting it Elaine and I hope others get as much benefit .
My little gratitude for today is I will be going to the gym to train for 'the race for life' which I will do in June to celebrate my uncle being in remission. |

I'm pleased people are getting something out of this It's lovely to read all of your comments.
It's amazing how much you can gain from doing this every day. I was like Peeps, I thought it was a bit of a cheesy thing to do, but it can change your whole perspective on life, if you let it!
Right this moment I'm grateful to the delivery man who brought 13 very heavy boxes to my office, when I'd been informed earlier this week that I'd have to get them to the 7th floor myself! The delivery guy said he liked to help people if he could - how lovely is that? _________________ Ever thought about having your own Life Coach?:
