I looked at the James Blunt message board to see what comments had been made about Starsailor. They were all very positive; they all seemed very impressed and one said that 'James had a lovely voice and was very engaging with the audience' and apparently he also said how good it was playing in a large venue after playing in smaller pubs and clubs!
Go for it, boys Smile

Stel has also his new fans... One said:

The warm up act was excellent. Star Sailor James was charming and has a good voice and the bass player was amazing: I haven't seen anyone play a bass like that!

More amazing support for Starsailor on the James Blunt message board!

I bought their CD after they performed. I guess a lot of people here liked them because when I got to the merchandise booth, they only had three left

Bummer- I just missed them in Atlanta. I was in Italy for the previous two weeks and didn't know about this addendum to their tour. I'm delighted for the guys that they are able to extend their tour of America. I am certain they will gain new fans on this tour. I don't know much about James Blunt's music (other than the nice, but overplayed song on the radio) but I know for sure his fans are in for a real treat!

Hope to see you back stateside next year, guys!

They've also confirmed a performance slot on CD:USA on 16th November in LA.

See http://cdusa.com/ for show and channel information - as well as http://www.myspace.com/cdusa - if you're in the LA area, you may be able to apply for tickets to the show, see: http://www.1iota.com/show.aspx?sid=53 - but they don't go that far forward yet, you'll need to keep an eye on it nearer the time.

This has opened now for ticket applications for the CD:USA show on Thursday 16th November.

You will see 6 bands during the recording and they want a total of 300 fans in the audience. It is recorded during the early evening at 5842 W Sunset Blvd Hollywood, CA 90028-6607 and you need to be there before 5pm. You can also get modest financial help towards travel costs if you can guarantee taking guests with you - see the page for more details: http://www.1iota.com/show.aspx?sid=53

There are some conditions you need to be aware of before applying:

"You MUST at least 16 yrs old and bring a valid photo id with you.

You MUST be available from 5:00pm until 9:00 pm. No exceptions!"

Was over in the US to see some James Blunt concerts and thought Starsailor were superb as the support, particularly at the House of Blues where the size of the stage meant James did a solo spot and absolutely rocked, filling the house with his fantastic voice. Brilliant. Just bought my first Starsailor CD and hope to catch some UK dates in future.
