James is going to be playing some dates and various appearances during the SXSW festival week, the music section of which runs from the 14th to 18th March 2007, in Austin Texas. See the event site for more information: http://2007.sxsw.com/music/

There are some more events and details to be confirmed, but so far he has the following scheduled - details will be added and this post edited, as we get them:

Thursday 15th ~ James will be playing at the Hotel Café Showcase from 10:30pm, at The Parish, 214b East 6th St. See: http://www.hotelcafe.com/sxsw2007.html ~ updated ~

Thursday 15th ~ James will later be doing two Gram Parsons songs at the Gram Parsons Tribute Party around 1am accompanied by the house band. The Gram Parsons Party is at 1300 East 4th St. ~ updated ~

Saturday 17th ~ James will be headlining the Paste Magazine Party at The Belmont at 305 W. 6th St. from 6:10-6:40pm.

Not that I know of specifically. If I hear anything of course, I'll post it.

There is a video blog of some selected highlights on the SXSW web site, see: http://2007.sxsw.com/coverage/video/ and some events each day are being covered on Direct TV, but none that James is now playing at. See http://2007.sxsw.com/music/sxswlive/ for the schedule.
