hi to starsailor!

think your gig in the KKL is worth a new entry in the message board Smile

wanted to say thanks for this great great show! we enjoyed it a lot in the first row, as everyone else, and it was the best concert i've seen for long!!

i actually wanted to say hi to james *stel* Smile !

since me and my friend met you in the nelson-pub in zürich before your gig around christmas 2005 + got an invitation for the next day's show. two girls, one dark-haired and the other one blonde. remember? well, guess you won't since you must be meeting lots and lots of new people all the time.. but it was fun talking to you, real nice meeting you guys. thanks to circumstances i never have seen the show then. my friend did see you then and had some pizzas with you after the show. now i finally HAVE seen you *happy!*. and i must say it was a great show. worth waiting and definitely worth paying.. smile.

you actually do win new fans just by just telling them *we are starsailor* well, it at least worked for us!

i do wish you all the best
hope to cu soon again in switzerland (yes, switzerland loves you too, smile!)

take care. sandra

Welcome to the board *sandra* !!! Glad you enjoyed the gig Very Happy !

Finally back from Switzerland, hard to know where to begin...
Great great show, as ever Wink ...
Everyone, band & audience, seemed to enjoy themselves ! And so did I ! They sounded amazingly good (I know I'm always saying the same thing, but they really are sounding better and better Wink !!!)

"Tell me is not over" live: wow Shocked , no doubt it will do a great single !!!
James did many covers: "Cast no shadow" (didn't remember all the lyrics, and we did not either, sorry Wink ...), "You can't always get what you want", a couple notes of "Hallelujah" at the end of "Love is here" and (it seemed to be Oasis day...) a wonderful version of "Champagne supernova" to finally end with "Dancing Queen" in the middle of "Silence is easy", which was quite funny Laughing !!!

Thanks you all for that great moment !!!

Thanks to you Marge Very Happy !!! I'm thinking of it Rolling Eyes ...

I was glad to meet up with Franziska and Claudia from the german fan page at the end of the gig, even if it made me realise that I've lost all my german from school Embarassed ...

Well, although the weather was no so good this time, it was really worth the travel: for the music, for the people, and for the place, as Lucerne is a very nice city !

For those who couldn't be there, here are some pics:

Thanks for the pictures and links, glad to hear that everyone had such a good time!

Do you think James and Stel are running a competition to see who can grow a beard fastest? Laughing I'd say James is winning at present.

I'd say Stel, but the competition is very tight Laughing ...

I forgot to say that the remix of FTTF was really excellent, James dedicated it to all the ravers in the audience, think they appreciated !

And also, thanks very much to Les for the setlist Very Happy ...

This wasn't their song (not yet Laughing ...) but a cover of Oasis "Cast no shadow"...

Quote:
Here's a thought for every man
Who tries to understand what is in his hands
He walks along the open road of Love & Life
surviving if he can

Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say
Chained to all the places that he never wished to say
Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say
and as faced the sun he cast no shadow

As they took his soul they stole his pride
As they took his soul they stole his pride
As they took his soul they stole his pride

Here's a thought for every man
Who tries to understand what is in his hands
He walks along the open road of Love & Life
surviving if he can

Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say
Chained to all the places that he never wished to say
Bound with all the weight of all the words he tried to say
and as faced the sun he cast no shadow

As they took his soul they stole his pride
As they took his soul they stole his pride
As they took his soul they stole his pride

And as he faced the sun he cast no shadow

Welcome from me too.

I've just added that to the covers list on Good Souls.

Dodovox, would you please do me a favour and fill in the form with the complete set list, with the additional covers and reprises on Good Souls, then I can add it to the site.

I seem to be missing a few, so if anyone wants to add any not on there yet, I'd love to add them. I've already added all the ones I've actually received. Same with any covers not already on the list.

He also sang some notes of a song I didn't recognize during "Keep Us Together", I'm sorry...
