They played the Astoria twice in one week at one point (Feb 2002) They played one headline show, I believe it was the one where Ed Harcourt supported (and James joined Ed onstage for She Fell Into My Arms) and another War Child show with Remy Zero, Ryan Adams and Travis (when James joined Ryan Adams onstage). I think he War Child show was on the 4th Feb (2002) and I think it was seperated from the other gig by one a couple of nights so the ed harcourt night must be 8th Feb one. *tries to peice memories together in head* _________________ Look up and see the angels

Decided I should do the photobucket thing so I was just trying it out. I took this at the Cockpit in Leeds in May this year. |

The first time I saw Starsailor was at the Fleadh in Finsbury Park in June 2001 (thought it was 2000 orginally but guess that was another senior moment - they're getting more frequent! ). We'd originally got the tickets to see Afro Celt Sound System (who are staggeringly good btw) but my other half said that we had to make sure we saw this band that Q had raved about as being the ones to watch - so we did and it was worth every second of every minute of every hour of standing in the pelting rain, soaked through to me undies and crammed up against the railings! The guys were absolutely fab - only a short set but left me desperate for the release of LIH. Been hooked ever since though with job/husband/kids/blah blah blah, I don't get the chance to see them as much as I'd like but always manage two gigs per album Anyone know if they've ever played Reading (not the festival) - if not, I reckon it's about time we had a visit (especially as Henley is not that far away ) - but please not the Hexagon ..... hmmmm, Fez Club would be a good venue _________________ Daddy was an alcoholic |

They played football at the Madejski Stadium in Reading for Soccer Six in May 2004, but I don't think they've played live music there. _________________ Keeper of Good Souls Interactive the official fan archive at Starsailor.net

Cheers Boo - that'll teach me not to follow my local team - lol! Well it would certainly be good to see them play live here - we've got a couple of cracking smaller venues and like i said, it's not far from Henley/Lower Shiplake..... the Guiness isn't bad either _________________ Daddy was an alcoholic |

My 1st Starsailor gig was .............. wait for it .........................!!!!
LAST NIGHT IN NORTHAMPTON!! Worth the wait I think - they were fantastic!
I've been a fan from the beginning but have been too busy bringing up kids to go gig-ing! I'm making up for all the lost years now though!!
Hope to see them again soon before 'old age' sets in!!!!
