Oh thanks Pam! I'm going to bake them tomorrow, my last day before I move back to campus where I won't have an oven One thing though: what kind of cheese goes in the mix? And what does oz acutally stand for? _________________

We use any cheese that you can grate, usually Ceddar, Red Leicester. I'm not sure about Dutch cheese, but something a bit stronger than Gouda, as some of the taste from mild flavoured cheese is lost in the baking. Our Red Leicester is strongly coloured also so the scones look better. |

Cheers, Pam. Actually, my experience is that what they sell in other countries as Dutch cheese is hardly ever Dutch cheese I'll go with old Dutch cheese then, it's pretty strong and my favourite. _________________
